CMT Welcomes New Members
The Calgary Model Trainmen’s Club, founded in 1938, is an HO scale model railroad club. We have one layout that the members run trains on and we also take it to Supertrain and Heritage Park Railway Days. We are also constructing a second permanent layout at our club location. New members, of all skill levels, are always welcomed to come and join us. We help teach new skills and we give members a chance to hone those skills by working on our two layouts.
Our location is #7-11 Street NE, Calgary near the Calgary Zoo and two blocks away from the Bridgeland-Memorial C-train station. We meet Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm to run trains and have train related fellowship. A number of Saturday mornings we also get together to work on the construction and maintenance of our layouts.

SUPERTRAIN 2014 Is Over. Next Up: CMT Open House April 26th!
/We hope you all were able to attend SUPERTRAIN 2014 and enjoyed it.
Hot on the heels of SUPERTRAIN, CMT will be having an Open House on Saturday, April 26th from 10-4. You can find how to get to our Contact Us page. Donations are welcome and HO-scale CMT Anniversary cars will also be on sale.
We hope you can attend!
Remember, you can always come and visit us any Wednesday night (except Flames games) for our regular meetings.
SUPERTRAIN This Weekend in Calgary! April 12th and 13th
/SUPERTRAIN 2014 is this weekend! We will be attending again this year with our modular layout. Make sure you stop by and say hello. We are always looking for new members!

Bouma Squares - Diorama Competition at the Spring Minimeet
/In March CMRS held the Bouma Squares competition. Peter Bouma issued a challenge - build a 5"X5" diorama. The competition was a great success with a number of interesting entries.
